‘Heart is a kite’ is the story of a little girl whose world suddenly changed. She is struggling to learn to navigate her life under these new circumstances. She is trying her best to face the grief and frustration. She slowly starts to come to terms with this change and accepts the help from people close to her.

The writer compares her struggle with feelings of frustration to the flight of a kite -life that has its ups and downs and it becomes easier to face them if we share our problems with our loved ones.
